Robotic Process Automation
Robotic Process Automation, or RPA, has been widely applied in many organizations. The repetitive jobs in daily operation are taken over by RPA systems, freeing human labor to engage on more challenging tasks. The earlier stage of RPA focus on the more mechanical operation. Combined with AI technology, RPA could benefit much more scenarios, further reducing the time and human capital cost of different tasks. For example, optical character recognition, or OCR, is already serving multiple industries like finance and medical.
Magi introduces natural language processing, or NLP, into RPA, and build applications to handle the jobs involving texts. For example, Ireul could extract information from a document that is being edited, and compare real-time with existing data (such as knowledge graph like Magi KG), in order to find knowledge errors within the document and show the original source of contradiction for reference. Applications like this let AI play the role of a really intelligent assistant, which aid human not only in repetitive chores, but also offer a higher level of assistance. Many of Magi’s modules can also be flexibly deployed on a local device (e.g., a smartphone) to work off-line, securing data safety.
